Psychiatry

In the United States the number of individuals with mental illness is increasing while access to care declines. Our psychiatry faculty aim to improve medication outcomes and increase access to care for patients with mental illness through research and clinical activities. In inpatient and outpatient settings we focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and expanding the areas of practice for psychiatric pharmacists. Many of our research projects utilize precision medicine to improve medication safety.
