DEI Strategic Plan
In 2016, the College of Pharmacy created a five-year plan to be intentional and strategic in moving the College forward in diversity, equity, and inclusion. The rationale for the objectives presented in the strategic plan are:
- To create an environment that is nurturing, welcoming, and supportive where everyone is respected, diversity is celebrated and individuals are allowed to voice their ideas without judgment.
- To equip students with the knowledge, compassion, and desire to become true leaders who advance scientific knowledge and deliver health care to a diverse population with respect and empathy.
- To recognize and accept our role and power as educators to train our future health care providers, policymakers, and research scientists to embrace the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
