The University of Michigan College of Pharmacy is excited to announce a new program for students interested in a exploring a career in pharmacy. Pharmacy Community College Connect (PC3) is for students from tribal and community colleges who know they want to go into pharmacy or who want to see if a career in pharmacy is right for them.

About the Program

In Summer 2024, students commute to the University of Michigan's Ann Arbor campus for 5 weeks, with select virtual days. The program also accepts students from the Upper Peninsula through our partner institution, Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College, allowing students attending Upper Peninsula institutions to commute to their local partner campus to participate. PC3 offers:

  • Stipend
  • Academic advising
  • Peer-to-peer mentoring
  • Job shadowing and career exploration
  • Student-led academic coursework
  • and more fun activities with your cohort!

For first-time program participants (Cohort 2024), the program will take place from May 6 - June 7th 2024. For returning program participants (Cohort 2023), the program will take place from June 17 - July 19th.
