Critical Care

The Pharmacy Critical Care Faculty within the Department of Clinical Sciences provide pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients at the University of Michigan Health System. These faculty members also conduct clinical and basic research with the aims of improving patient care and outcomes through establishing the safest, most effective, and most cost-effective drug therapies. Our Faculty and clinicians disseminate their research findings and share their clinical experiences with other health care personnel by presenting at national and international conferences and publishing their data in pharmaceutical and medical journals. The varied expertise of our critical care practitioners and their collaborative interdisciplinary work ensures innovative research as well as providing optimal pharmaceutical care to patients.
