The Sun & Pharmacokinetics and Mass Spectrometry (PKMS) laboratory is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Research Laboratory Technician General Associate or Intermediate for a full-time position with knowledge and experience in mouse breeding, DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and in vivo animal studies. This is a hybrid role at the interface of colony maintenance and animal study execution. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to support highly collaborative research projects on drug discovery. The research focus is on maintaining and developing disease-model animals and so requires knowledge of animal physiological and pharmacological differences. This position will support the drug discovery and nanomedicine research in the lab. The successful candidate will support the maintenance of our mouse colonies through breeding, genotyping, weaning, as well as completion of in vivo animal studies in support of ongoing projects.
