The CBI Symposium will be held on Tuesday, Oct 30 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, with lectures in the Rackham Amphitheater and a poster session in both the East and West Conference rooms. This symposium is designed to foster awareness of the cutting-edge research being conducted at the interface of the fields of chemistry and biology and features guest speaker Dr. Tarun Kapoor from Rockefeller University.  Additionally, Emily Scott, Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, and Yoichi Osawa from U-M Pharmacology will also present lectures. Presentations to highlight the work of CBI Trainees will also take place. The poster session (4:40 pm - 6:00 pm) is open to all students and postdocs wanting to participate, and all interested faculty, students, and staff are invited to join us throughout the day.
