Summary
Sheila brings 14+ years of experience in logistics coordination and events production to the College of Pharmacy in her role as Event Planner & Manager. Before joining the College of Pharmacy, Sheila served as the Events & Public Programming Manager at the Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning, and supported events at the Ross School of Business as an Events Manager with their Events Office.
During her time at the University of Michigan, she's had the pleasure of working to produce commencement ceremonies, homecoming events, symposiums, lecture series talks, multi-day conferences, recruiting and admission events, local and regional alumni networking events, donor-related stewardship events, the building opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Ross School of Business's Blau Hall, and the 25th-anniversary naming celebration for Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning.
Sheila regularly partners with students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, corporate partners, and vendors to execute these various memorable and successful happenings. She has a passion for creating fun and meaningful connections with others, a truly special experience that she hopes to share with many people through her various professional roles as an event producer, portrait photographer, and dance instructor.
When she's not supporting events for the College of Pharmacy, Sheila serves as a Stage Manager for The Ark, a non-profit organization dedicated to the enrichment of the human spirit through the presentation, preservation, and encouragement of folk, roots and ethnic music and related arts, where she manages nightly performances, onsite artist communications, and supervises the team of show volunteers.
