University Launches Precision Health Initiative
The University of Michigan has launched a new initiative to harness campus-wide research aimed at finding personalized solutions to improve the health and wellness of individuals and communities.
Precision Health at the University of Michigan will bring together researchers from across the University to facilitate this new and exciting type of research.
“We are pleased that the University is putting an emphasis on collaboration across all disciplines,” states James Dalton, PhD, dean of the U-M College of Pharmacy. “Our faculty are part of key scientific teams making great strides in identifying genetic variants that will allow clinicians to tailor treatments – the key goal of precision health.”
