On behalf of the College of Pharmacy Graduate Student Organization (CoPGSO), we would like to invite you to attend the Second Annual CoPGSO Award Lecture on Friday, September 11th at 3:00 – 4:00 PM in South Lecture Hall, Med Sci II.  

This event is open to the entire University of Michigan community, however registration is required

Dr. William T. Beck is the Professor and Department Head of Biopharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Dr. Beck was Professor and Director of the Cancer Center of UIC from 1996 to 1999. In 2000, he became Head, Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences at UIC, where he is also Professor of Pharmacology and Molecular Genetics. Among Dr. Beck’s many accolades include being elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in 2007, named UIC Distinguished Professor in 2012, and was elected to a four-year term as Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Section of the AAAS in 2015.
