Paul C. Walker, PharmD, FASHP, FMPAPaul C. Walker, PharmD, FASHP, FMPA is Clinical Professor and Assistant Dean of Experiential Education and Community Engagement at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy.
Walker received his BS in Pharmacy and PharmD from Wayne State University. He completed an ASHP‐ accredited residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and specialty residency in pediatric pharmacy practice at the University of Tennessee and LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center, Memphis, TN.
Walker is the Immediate Past President of the American Society of Health‐System Pharmacists (ASHP). His ASHP service includes 2022-2023 President, a three-year term on the Board of Directors, appointments to the Committee on Nominations and Commission on Affiliate Relations, serving as a delegate to the House of Delegates, and chairing the 2020 ASHP Task Force on Racial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Walker is a member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA), and the Michigan Society of Health‐System Pharmacists (MSHP). He received the 2008 MSHP Professional Practice Award, 2010 MSHP Pharmacist of the Year Award, 2017 MSHP Joseph A. Odis Leadership Award, and 2022 MPA Pharmacist of the Year Award. He has been inducted into the MPA Hall of Honor and is recognized as a Fellow of ASHP and MPA. He received the 2022 Wendell T. Hill Award from the Association of Black Health-system Pharmacists Foundation.
He is passionate about advancing pharmacy practice by innovating pharmacist services and integrating student pharmacists into practice models. He has authored numerous peer‐reviewed articles and book chapters, with publications appearing in the American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy, American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, and other journals.

- Please plan to arrive early; doors open 30 minutes before the start of the Ceremony.
- Please turn off all cell phones.
- Ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm.
After Ceremony:
- Student cohort photo will be taken on the steps of Rackham immediately following the ceremony.

PARKING
The Thayer Street, Fletcher, and Palmer parking structure will be open and available for visitors on White Coat Ceremony day. The Thayer structure is located at: 216 S. Thayer Street., Fletcher structure is located at 121 Fletcher Street, and Palmer structure is located at Washtenaw and Palmer Drive.
The Thayer, Fletcher, and Palmer Structures will be open beginning at 1:00pm. Please note that at the Palmer Structure only the UM Employee Blue parking area is available.A link to campus maps that including parking locations can be found at: maps.studentlife.umich.edu/
