Master of Engineering in Pharmaceutical Engineering
The MEng in Pharmaceutical Engineering degree program is an interdisciplinary program of the U-M College of Pharmacy and College of Engineering. The goal of the program is to prepare a new generation of pharmaceutical and engineering professionals who can adapt to rapid changes in science and technology that characterize modern pharmaceutical and life-sciences related industries.
Students in this program develop their knowledge in both the theory and practice of pharmaceutical engineering. The program includes diverse and relevant courses in biology, chemistry, engineering, and pharmacy, as well as internships in the pharmaceutical industry. Students enrolled in the College of Pharmacy's BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences program, and related fields, can complete the requirements for the BS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and the MEng in Pharmaceutical Engineering in five years. Pharmacy students should apply to the program during the first semester of their first year at the College of Pharmacy.
