Of over 800 posted presented at the Schizophrenia International Research Society (SIRS) conference in Florence, Italy, Kyle Burghardt, PharmD’11, Research Fellow and Adjunct Clinical Instructor in Pharmacy, and Tyler Grove, BS’06, PhD Candidate, were selected as finalists for their posters.

"In looking at the over 800 posters at this meeting, there was some excellent, high quality work being presented. Having two lab members achieve this recognition is a great acknowledgement of the hard work they put into their projects. I could not be prouder of both of them!" states Vicki Ellingrod, PharmD, FCCP, John Gideon Searle Professor of Pharmacy and Associate Chair for Research Development and Mentorship, Department of Clinical Pharmacy.

The posters they presented were titled:

Dr. Ellingrod also chaired an invited symposium at the conference entitled Drug Repurposing and Emerging Adjunctive Treatments for Schizophrenia.
