Kyle Burghardt To Be Recognized at 54th ASCP Annual Meeting

Kyle Burghardt, PharmD’11, Research Fellow and Adjunct Clinical Instructor in Pharmacy, has been selected as the recipient for the ASCP Annual Meeting New Investigator Award. Kyle will be recognized at this year’s event, which will be held June 16-19, 2014 in Hollywood, Florida.
Awardees will be exposed to the breadth of opportunities available to clinical researchers, as well as introduced to potential senior investigators from other institutions.
As an award recipient, Kyle will receive:
- A full-day closed workshop led by experts from NIH, FDA, academia, and industry,
- An opportunity to present a poster at the ASCP Annual Meeting,
- A special award ceremony with an opportunity to informally meet leaders in the field, and
- A mentor for the meeting who will make introductions to others in the field.
This year’s event theme is New Approaches to Mental Illness in the Era of the National Brain Initiative.
