Enabling Patient-Centered Care with Advanced Mobile Monitoring

Patients, families, and clinicians must work together to maintain optimal health status levels, intervening at the earliest possible moment when warranted. Our team, associated with the University of Michigan Medical Innovation Center, is developing a novel system for outpatient monitoring and early intervention. Miniature sensors will passively track a variety of key physiologic parameters, and will develop and utilize vetted predictive models to monitor incoming data streams for deviation. Care teams will use the obtained data for early intervention.
