Protein-protein interactions in cancer cells and cancer stem cells are critical to regulate cell proliferation and cancer cell survival. Many genetic and epigenetic signaling network are regulated by protein-protein interactions. Drug discovery to block protein-protein interactions has been challenging. In this program, we will establish new methodology to identify small molecules to disrupt protein-protein interactions for cancer therapy.
