Dean Frank Ascione Receives Michigan Pharmacist of the Year Award
At the MPA Annual Convention & Exposition this past weekend, Frank Ascione, Dean of the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, was awarded the Michigan Pharmacist of the Year Award, Michigan’s highest honor in the pharmacy profession.
Frank’s recognition as a leader in pharmacy education and administration spans both national and international areas. His career has done the same, from early pharmacy practice and involvement at the American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA) to numerous research publications and his current role as dean at the University of Michigan – one of the leading colleges of pharmacy in the nation.
Congratulate Dean Frank on this prestigious award, as well as his dedication to the science of pharmacy and his leadership at the College.
