Congratulations to Phil VanDyke, BSPharm'80, on a terrific career at Michigan Medicine. On 7/23/2020, Phil will retire after over 40 years of service. This is the only institution Phil practiced in as a pharmacist after he graduated from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in 1980. 

Phil was a critical part of the transition to the new CW Hospital in 2011. In 2012, Phil departed the pharmacy department to join the MiChart team in HITS.  He never let the connection to the pharmacy department get too far though. Phil has assisted pharmacy throughout the planning, implementation, go-live and post-go live stages of MiChart. He has continued to be an expert in ensuring medication use system processes associated with MiChart are safe for the hospital's littlest patients.  Additionally, Phil has provided support for other builds and orders.
