Proceeds from the golf outing support the education of those seeking careers in the profession of pharmacy or as researchers in basic science and drug design.

On Tuesday June 12, the Alumni Board of Governors hosted its 17th annual Alumni & Friends Golf Scramble. This year's event was held at the Washtenaw Golf Club. Alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends tried their hand at the putting contest before spending the afternoon on the course. Proceeds from this event support the education of those seeking careers in the profession of pharmacy or as researchers in basic science and drug design.

In addition to the alumni board, both professional and graduate students volunteered their time to help facilitate events throughout the day, including set-up and execution of the silent auction, which featured items from local businesses like Arbor Brewing Company, MVMNT Cycling, Weber’s Inn, Bellanina Day Spa and more. Thank you to each member of the Alumni Board of Governors for their time and donations in support of this event, including Jenna Holzhausen, PharmD’10, and Shannon Hough, PharmD‘10, for making this year's outing such a success.

Heartfelt thanks to our Title Sponsor, NoviXus Pharmacy Services, and Rich Grossman, BSPharm’79, Chief Operating Officer. A special thank-you to our Cart Sponsor, MedImpact Healthcare Systems. The College would like to express its gratitude to all those who generously sponsored the event. Your support helps keep the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy among the top professional schools in the world.
