Congratulations to Dr. Rima Mohammad, who was inducted as a fellow into the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

Rima Mohammad, PharmD, was inducted as a fellow into the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) at the 2016 Annual Meeting. According to ACCP, fellowship (FCCP) recognizes excellence in the practice and science of clinical pharmacy. Fellowship is awarded to individuals who have made sustained contributions to the College and who have demonstrated exceptional performance in clinical pharmacy practice and/or research.

Dr. Mohammad is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and clinical pharmacist in surgery, gastrointestinal diseases and nutrition at the Michigan Medicine.  Dr. Mohammad received her Doctor of Pharmacy from The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati. She completed her pharmacy practice and critical care specialty residency at the Michigan Medicine. Since completing her residency, Dr. Mohammad has been a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy, Long Island University. She is a preceptor of the Michigan Medicine Pharmacy Residency Programs. She is also a board certified specialist in pharmacotherapy.

Dr. Mohammad is heavily involved in professional organizations through leadership committee positions and student mentoring.  She is currently co-advisor of the Multicultural Pharmacy Student Organization.
