Congratulations to Dr. Hanna Phan, who was named to the 6th cohort of the Interprofessional Leadership Fellows program.

Hanna Phan, PharmD, clinical associate professor, has been named to the 6th cohort of the Interprofessional Leadership (IPL) Fellows program at the University of Michigan. 

“The sixth cohort of IPL fellows will be building on the incredible success of their predecessors,” said Frank Ascione, director of the Michigan Center for Interprofessional Education. “They will benefit from the experience and momentum already gained from our health science schools in making the University of Michigan a leader among IPE programs. The new fellows will add to the large pool of faculty who are committed to teaching and providing IPE and collaborative care for our learners, patients and communities we serve.”

Dr. Phan is a clinical associate professor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and a clinical pharmacist specialist in ambulatory care at Michigan Medicine C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. She provides care for patients with cystic fibrosis as part of the interprofessional care team at the U-M Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center. Her research interests include patient and caregiver medication education, adherence, and interprofessional care models for pediatric chronic disease management. Dr. Phan's other areas of interest include interprofessional collaboration, training, assessment, and quality improvement initiatives.
