Eligibility

The Pharmacy Community College Connect program is for students from Tribal and Community Colleges that share geography with the state of Michigan. Students must have taken at least one introductory college course in biology or chemistry and be at least 18 years of age by the start of the program.

Application

Before applying, we encourage you to look at what information, questions, and materials are required within the application process.

The PC3 program is no longer accepting applications for the 2024 cohort. Applications for the 2025 cohort will open in the winter of 2024. If you are interested in being notified when the 2025 recruitment cycle for PC3 begins, fill out this Google Form.

The application will ask for a variety of information about yourself, including but not limited to:

  • Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Citizenship
  • Race/Ethnicity
  • Contact Information

In order to complete the application, you must submit a college transcript. It is best to have this ready before starting the application, and it must be submitted as an attachment in the application.

An unofficial college transcript copy is best, and can be in a file format or as a screenshot. If you have questions about how to get access to your unofficial college transcript, speak with your advisor. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

If you have attended multiple colleges or universitiesyou will need to submit a transcript for each one.

There will be two open-ended response questions.

Personal Essay: In at least 3 paragraphs, reflect on and address the following:​

  1. Your current program of study and academic/professional goals
  2. How PC3 relates to your current goals and why you wish to participate in the program
  3. Reflect on at least one of the following:
    • What exposure have you had to the field of pharmacy? Has that exposure influenced you?
    • What unique skills, qualities, or life experiences would you bring to the health professions?
    • What would be your goals as a health professional?

Extracurricular Activities: Please share with us any extracurricular activities that you are a part of (e.g., sports, hobbies, organizations).
