Financial aid is available to pharmacy students at the University of Michigan includes scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs for undergraduate and professional students.  Students admitted as undergraduates (i.e., those who have not completed a degree program before entering the PharmD program) may apply for federal and institutional grants, federal loans, and work-study employment through the Financial Aid Office.  Students admitted at the graduate-professional level (i.e., those students who have completed a degree program) and all third- and fourth-year PharmD students, may apply for federal loans and work study.

Eligibility for federal forms of financial aid is limited to full-time students who are either U.S. citizens or permanent residents, or those holding immigrant visas. Applicants must submit both an application, preferably the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available from the Financial Aid Office, and a financial statement. To learn more about programs, application procedures, and financial aid deadlines, contact the Financial Aid Office.
