May 2018

Dear Friends,

The College of Pharmacy just celebrated a milestone – graduating the 150th class from Michigan’s Pharmacy program. During commencement, we recognized 81 new PharmD, 19 new PhD, and 8 new BS degree graduates. Additionally, 25 residents completed their training at the College and Michigan Medicine.

Honors were also extended to Dr. Steven Erickson, 2018 Teaching Excellence Award,  Jay Carter, 2018 Distinguished Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award, and Dr. Miriam Mobley Smith, 2018 Alumni Service Award in Pharmacy.

We also celebrated the achievements of many of the College's faculty, administration, alumni, and students. These notable accomplishments, which you will read about below, are among the many reasons why the U-M College of Pharmacy remains a top name in graduate education nationally and has marked three consecutive years of record research growth.

Have a great summer and go Blue!
