The College’s Experiential Education program helps our PharmD students develop the professional skills needed to practice effectively. 

This prestigious distinction is given to an AFPE mentor who exemplifies the characteristics of ongoing learning, a willingness to share expertise and provides guidance with respect.

The role of Community Engagement is crucial to the College for two key reasons: Providing our students with hands-on experiences outside of the classroom and giving back to the residents that make up the greater Ann Arbor area. 

The award is given to a researcher who has made outstanding contributions to research on natural products. 

The study, conducted on mice, found that the inulin gel, specifically formulated with an allergen, normalized the imbalanced intestinal microbiota and metabolites in allergic mice.

Cernak’s team will receive funding for their proposal titled “A One Health Approach to Combat Fungal Infections in Endangered Species.” This project will begin in July. 

The BSPS program prepares students to pursue a career in healthcare or research.

Preceptors play a crucial role in mentoring PharmD students throughout their rotations – providing real-life, hands-on experiences in health systems.

This distinction is up from the college’s previous national ranking at #3.

She is a two-time winner who previously received the award in 2010 and was a finalist for the honor in 2020 and 2022.
