PharmD Commencement
General Information
- Guests must provide tickets at the door.
- Please plan to arrive early. Graduates must be at Rackham by 1:00 pm.
- Commencement will start at 2:00 pm. Please turn off all cell phones.
- We will end at approximately 3:00 pm with a catered reception in the lobby to follow.
Guest Arrival
- We anticipate that the venue will open for guests and seating will begin approximately 45 minutes prior to the published start time. We recommend arriving no later than 30 minutes before the start time.
- Accessibility: Rackham Auditorium is fully equipped to accommodate seating for limited mobility guests and their family members. All seating in the auditorium is on the main floor with no stairs. There is a wheelchair ramp on the Washington Street side of the building. Those in need of accessible seating are encouraged to be dropped off directly at the main entrance on Washington Street. Staff will be available to assist those with limited mobility and direct to accessible seating areas. Elevators for the upper level are found on either side of the lobby.
- All ceremonies at University Production Facilities (Rackham, Hill, Power, and Mendelssohn) and Crisler Center will follow the same ceremonial prohibited items list.

Photography
Professional photographers will capture the event and photograph each graduate. We will share the photos with graduates when available.
Air Travel
Detroit International Airport (DTW) is the airport nearest Ann Arbor. Travel time from DTW to Ann Arbor is approximately 25 minutes.

Parking
The gates to the Thayer (216 S. Thayer Street), Fletcher, Hill (201 Fletcher Street), Thompson (500 Thompson St) and Palmer-Blue Area (200 Washtenaw Avenue) structures will be open for commencement guests. Parking enforcement in these structures will be suspended until the end of enforcement hours on Sunday. Even though enforcement is suspended, we encourage guests not to park in any specialty signed spaces (Gold, UM Business, Service Vehicle, etc. The campus parking structures fill to capacity during the business days. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as parking is first-come, first-serve and there are limited handicapped parking spots in each structure that will be available with the proper permits.
Additional parking is available in the city structures: Maynard (324 Maynard St), Washington (215 Washington Street), Liberty (510 E. Washington) and Forest (650 S. Forest)
