Dr. Antoinette B. Coe, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, is a pharmacist and health services researcher interested in improving the care and aging trajectory of older adults by preventing iatrogenic harm from medications, decreasing inappropriate medication use, and mitigating medication-related health disparities. Her research interests include:
- Strategies and policies to improve transitions of care and medication management in older adults, particularly those with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
- Implementation and dissemination of pharmacist-provided comprehensive medication reviews to ensure safe and effective medication use in older adults
- Impact of pharmacists' care on health outcomes in innovative, interprofessional patient care models
- Strategies and policy which address health disparities to improve health and medication-related outcomes in vulnerable populations
