U-M College of Pharmacy Celebrates 2022 Commencement

It has been a terrific couple weeks at the College! We celebrated 85 students achieving their PharmD, 10 achieving their PhD, and 38 achieving their BSPS. Eleven students will complete our Master of Science in Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences program this summer. Below are some highlights from the College’s first in person commencement season since 2019.

PHARMD COMMENCEMENT BANQUET

The College celebrated our graduating PharmD students on April 22, 2022. The event acknowledged those who received special recognition at commencement, as part of the College’s Leadership Scholars program, for high scholastic achievement, service to the College, and more. See the full list of student honorees.

Jolene R. Bostwick, PharmD, BCPS, BCPP, received the 2022 Teaching Excellence Award at the banquet. This award recognizes exceptional teaching in the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy’s PharmD and PhD programs.

ALUMNI AWARDS

The College honored two outstanding alumniPeter Labadie, BSPharm’79, MBA, and Lynda S. Welage, BSPharm’81, PharmD, FCCP, who received the Distinguished Alumni Lifetime Achievement Awards at the April 23 commencement ceremony.
