Dr. James T. O’Donnell Releases “The Process of New Drug Discovery and Development”

The third edition of The Process of New Drug Discovery and Development, presents a practical methodology and up-to-date scientific information for maximizing the ability of a multidisciplinary research team to discover and bring new drugs to the marketplace. Dr. James T. O’Donnell III, PharmD’71 and member of the College of Pharmacy Board of Governors, is and editor for the edition. It explores the scientific advances in new drug discovery and development for areas such as combinatorial chemistry, screening technologies, biotechnology approaches and preclinical testing. This book also greatly expands the focus on the clinical pharmacology, regulatory, and business aspects of bringing new drugs to the market and offers coverage of essential topics for companies involved in drug development.
