Speaker Bio: Jennifer Hagerman, PharmD

Dr. Hagerman is the Vice President of Education and Quality at Diplomat.  In this role, she oversees Diplomat University, an innovative branch of Diplomat that delivers training both internally and externally. She is also responsible for the organization’s quality assurance and accreditation programs. In addition, Dr. Hagerman serves as the residency program director for Diplomat’s post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program, which offers a focus in specialty pharmacy.

Prior to joining Diplomat, Dr. Hagerman served as an associate professor at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy with a practice site at Hurley Medical Center. In addition, she served for three years as adjunct faculty in the Department of Nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint.

Dr. Hagerman is very active in the profession.  She served on the executive board of the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) for 6 years, including in the role of President. She has also served on the board of trustees of the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation (MPF) and on numerous pharmacy organization committees.  In 2009, Dr. Hagerman earned the MPA Distinguished New Pharmacy Practitioner Award.

Dr. Hagerman received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University College of Pharmacy. After graduation, she completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
