Michigan Life Sciences Alumni Network Seeks Alumni, Student Members

March 30, 2020

The Michigan Life Sciences Alumni Network invites those in the life science (including but not limited to pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology) industries or interested in networking with alumni in the life sciences to join their group.

Alumni in these industries represent a variety of companies, including but not limited to Fortune 500 companies (like AbbVie, Pfizer, Walgreens, etc.), startups, and independent consultants. Current students interested in careers in the life sciences are also welcome and encouraged to join. The life science industry are actively engaged in the fight against COVID-19, so despite the hiatus on in-person event planning, the Michigan Life Sciences Alumni Network is highly encouraging networking through online channels like LinkedIn.

Currently, the group is encouraging alumni to share helpful articles, webinars, podcasts, as well as job and internship opportunities related to the life science industries in its LinkedIn group, and is building a network so that when we get back to physical event planning, they have increased potential for in-person events. At that time, they plan to work with local U-M alumni clubs throughout the United States and world to put on various social, professional, and networking activities oriented towards alumni working in the life sciences.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form at this link and join their LinkedIn group. If you have questions, please contact Jacob Molewyk at [email protected]
