Letter from the Dean: November 2021

November 9, 2021

Dear alumni and friends,

I’m happy to report that we continue to have in-person classes and events. Most notably we held our White Coat Ceremony for our P1s and our P2s who were not able to have their ceremony last year. Also, we are honoring PhD students who will advance to candidacy on November 18 – see https://pharmacy.umich.edu/about-college/events/phd-advance-candidacy-reception.

The search for our next dean has begun with a search committee of faculty, students, alumni, and representatives from across campus. For more information and the position description, see https://pharmacy.umich.edu/dean-search.  We invite comments, inquiries, and nominations to be sent to the consultants for the search, Isaacson, Miller, at https://www.imsearch.com/search-detail/S8-129 or contact the search committee chair, Dr. Kathleen Stringer, at [email protected].

The air is turning crisp in Ann Arbor and the first snow flakes have dropped in northern Michigan! In addition to the stories highlighted in our email newsletter, I invite you to get caught up on all the College news at https://pharmacy.umich.edu/about-college/news.

Go Blue!
