[Ann Arbor, Michigan] – The College of Pharmacy is excited to announce that it has received a Gold Education Digital Marketing Award for its website redesign that launched in February 2025. The national awards recognize excellence in digital marketing initiatives across the education sector.

The College’s website redesign was selected from more than 1,000 entries and earned the competition’s highest honor – the Gold Award. It was among various institutions that were awarded gold, silver, bronze, or merit awards for their digital marketing achievements.
“It’s an incredible honor to receive this award as a reflection of the creative, thoughtful work our team put into the website redesign,” said Lindsay Groth, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. “Our goal was to build a digital front door that invites our stakeholders into our community, communicating our brand identity and value propositions, and delivering the information they are seeking, whether getting to know our academic programs, applying or giving, or perusing our blog, The Apothecary. I’m thrilled that our peers recognize the strength of that vision.”
The project was led by the College’s Marketing and Communications Department and Information Technology Services Department, with collaboration from faculty and staff across the entire College. Symmetri Marketing Group served as the development partner for the redesign.
Designed with a mobile-first mindset, the new website offers a streamlined, engaging experience that highlights our top-ranked academic programs, enterprising research, and the pharmacy student experience – all while elevating the stories of our students, faculty, alumni and donors.
“Our website is key to communicating our story – our strength in academic, research, practice, and the impact we have on the pharmacy profession,” remarked Dean Vicki Ellingrod. “It reflects the talent and innovation that define our community, and I’m grateful for the collaboration, creativity and care our teams put into the redesign.”
