Title: If It’s Predictable, Is It Preventable? Hypertension, Real-World Evidence, and Building a Career in Cardiovascular Outcomes Research

Abstract: Cardiovascular risk is increasingly predictable, but translating that risk into effective treatment remains a challenge. This talk will highlight how real-world evidence can inform antihypertensive treatment decisions, including early therapy choices, combination treatment, and implementation gaps, using examples from observational data and target trial emulation. The presenter will also discuss her experience building a career in cardiovascular outcomes research.
