Role Overview and Bio

With a solid foundation in software development and a keen interest in advancing healthcare technologies, I bring over 7 years of experience in the tech industry, specializing in creating software solutions for research and healthcare applications. For the past two years, I have been an integral part of the University of Michigan’s College of Pharmacy, specifically working in Dr. Dorsch’s lab to develop software that supports pharmaceutical research.

In my current role, I am committed to:

Developing New Software: Create innovative software solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of researchers, enhancing the research infrastructure and enabling more efficient studies.

Enhancing Research Software: Improve the capabilities of existing software, with a particular focus on enhancing reliability, user experience, and data integrity to support critical research activities.

Maintaining Existing Software: Ensure the continuous operation and effectiveness of all deployed software, implementing updates and optimizations to keep systems running smoothly and securely.

Generating Reports: Produce detailed reports for researchers, providing them with the critical data needed to review progress and outcomes, thus supporting informed decision-making in ongoing research projects.

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, where I acquired my technical skills and developed a deep understanding of software engineering principles. My educational background also includes rigorous training in advanced programming and system design, which are fundamental to my daily responsibilities.

Beyond my professional life, I am passionate about the outdoors and physical fitness. I frequently engage in hiking and CrossFit, which keep me energized and focused. I also enjoy exploring new trails and participating in outdoor activities that challenge my physical and mental limits.

As an active and community-oriented individual, I value time spent with family and friends, exploring new places, and maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle. My dedication to both my career and personal life fuels my pursuit of excellence in all aspects of life.
