Summary

Dr. Jeffrey Harrington is a current Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Fellow serving as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist at Michigan Medicine. Prior to this position, Dr. Harrington obtained his Bachelor's of Science in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison before completing his PharmD education at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy. He then completed his PGY-1 Pharmacy training at Michigan Medicine.

Dr. Harrington has primary Infectious Diseases interests in immunocompromised host infections and gram-negative resistance. He is currently completing a research project evaluating the impact of a risk factor-based algorithm in determining empiric antibiotic regimens in critically ill patients at Michigan Medicine.
