Role Overview and Bio

Lindsay is a strategic marketing and communications leader with 20 years of experience building and strengthening (marketing) programs to solve various organizational challenges. For the past several years, her focus has been pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing.

As Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, she is a member of the College’s leadership team. She and her team are building a sophisticated multi-channel MarComm program that includes a strategy and plan to generate awareness and generate pipeline to support our recruitment and philanthropic efforts using paid, earned, and owned media for the College of Pharmacy. Currently, she and her team are responsible for:

  • Brand management, messaging, product positioning, content strategy
  • Digital marketing and communication (Website, Intranet, Mobile, SEO, Paid, Email)
  • Social media marketing (Paid and Organic)
  • Lead generation
  • Public and media relations
  • Event experiences from concept to clean up
  • Communication strategy and execution to all stakeholders

Lindsay holds an M.B.A. from Wayne State University and a B.S.B.A. from Central Michigan University, double-majoring in Marketing and Logistics. She also received certifications in Digital Marketing from New York University, Reputation Risk Management and Crisis Communications from PRSA. She and her team received the Gold Award from the Education in Digital Marketing (EDM) Awards for the website redesign and launch for the College of Pharmacy.

An active member of the Ann Arbor community, Lindsay has served on several nonprofit boards and currently serves on the Michigan Softball Enhancement Fund. Additionally, she serves on the Michigan Softball Academy as the Silent Auction Chair, an event that has raised over $2.5M for the American Cancer Society to eradicate breast cancer over the past 15 years.

When not working, you’ll find her reading a good book, listening to podcasts, and yes, binge-watching one of her many, many, favorite shows. She and her spouse are avid sports fans and season ticket holders of Michigan Softball and Women’s Basketball and they enjoy traveling, cycling, and spending time with family, friends, and their two cats Swiss and Wafer.
