Summary
Lindsay is a strategic marketing and communications leader with 20 years of experience building and strengthening (marketing) programs to solve various organizational challenges. For the past several years, her focus has been pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing.
In her role as Director of Marketing and Communications, she and her team are building a MarComm program, including a strategy and plan to support awareness, recruitment, and philanthropic efforts using paid, earned, and owned media for the College of Pharmacy.
Lindsay holds an M.B.A. from Wayne State University and a B.S.B.A. from Central Michigan University, double majoring in Marketing and Logistics. She also received her Digital Marketing certification from New York University.
An active member of the Ann Arbor Community, Lindsay has sat on several non-profit boards and currently is the Silent Auction Chair for the Michigan Softball Academy, an event that has raised $2M to eradicate breast cancer for the American Cancer Society over the past 15 years.
When not working, you’ll find her reading a good book, listening to podcasts, and yes, binge-watching one of her many, many, favorite shows. She and her spouse are avid sports fans and season ticket holders of Michigan Softball and Women’s Basketball and they enjoy traveling, cycling, and spending time with family, friends, and their two cats Swiss and Wafer.
Overall Role
The College of Pharmacy seeks a Director of Communications and Marketing who will provide strategic and creative marketing and communications leadership through collaborations with the dean, college leaders, students, faculty, staff, and others to set the tone of our communication and marketing efforts. This will partly be accomplished by telling stories of the number one college of pharmacy in Michigan, which is also in the top five schools nationally. These stories will be directed to prospective students, current students, donors, alumni, the general public, the media, the pharmaceutical industry, and the pharmacy profession. You will be responsible for oversight of all the college’s communications and marketing functions and for leading a team of creative professionals, while also collaborating with and serving key groups in our college. You will report to the dean and serve on the college’s leadership committee for administrative operations.
