Overall Role

A laboratory within the College of Pharmacy is looking for an experienced analytical chemist to fill a research specialist lead position. In collaboration with senior research faculty and personnel, this position will contribute and/or lead research on one or more research projects serving as expert in specialized laboratory working with proteins and peptides formulated to target specific disorder. Experience is needed in running and maintaining LC-MS/MS, LC/TOF and other analytical instrumentation, with preference to Waters instruments

Job Functions

  • Conduct Research & Write progress reports and manuscripts.
  • Maintain HPLC/UPLC and MS systems.
  • Administrative and Financial Oversight
  • Coordinate data collection and analysis.
