Kassie J. Herbst, PharmD'18, has been named the 2021 New Practitioner Award winner by the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). The AMCP New Practitioner Award was established in 2015 to recognize an AMCP member making a significant contribution to managed care pharmacy within five years of graduation from first professional degree in pharmacy, medicine or nursing.

Kassie is currently a clinical pharmacist at Cigna Medicare. She completed a PGY-1 Managed Care residency with Cigna, and now focuses on developing and providing clinical services, strategizes to identify creative solutions to improve patient care, and advocates for pharmacist roles. Kassie joined AMCP as a pharmacy student and continues to be an active volunteer by currently serving on AMCP’s Membership Committee. Congratulations, Kassie!
