Golfers enjoyed a glorious day at the 14th annual Alumni & Friends Golf Scramble

On Tuesday June 9, the Alumni Board of Governors hosted its 14th annual Alumni & Friends Golf Scramble.This year's event was held at The Polo Fields Washtenaw Golf Course. Alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends enjoyed an outdoor grilled lunch buffet, putting contest, a delightful day on the course, and dinner following play. Proceeds from this event support the education of those seeking careers in the profession of pharmacy or as researchers in basic science and drug design.

Approximately 30 student volunteers helped facilitate events throughout the day, including a “How to stay safe and healthy on the golf course” Health Fair, silent auction, and as hole-in-one witnesses. Thank you to each member of the Alumni Board of Governors for their time, donations, and sponsorships for this event, including Heather Somand, PharmD'05, for chairing this year’s event.
