Dr. Rudina Odeh-Ramadan, PharmD, is currently the Vice President for Research Administration at Columbia University and Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgical Research (in surgery).   In this role, Rudi oversees Sponsored Projects Administration, the Clinical Trials Office and the Research Pharmacy. 

During her 12-year tenure at Columbia University, Rudi has held multiple executive leadership roles including, Associate Vice President for Research Administration, Executive Director of the Clinical Trials Office, and Director of Clinical Transplant Research. Dr. Odeh-Ramadan’s expertise includes process redesign in a complex environment.  Additionally, Dr. Odeh-Ramadan is responsible for re-engineering five underperforming departments, leading each to a top tier status among peer institutions.

Dr. Odeh-Ramadan was the first clinical pharmacist at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University where she served as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager for seven years. During this time, Rudi dedicated her clinical career to the pharmacological management of the solid organ transplant recipient with a primary emphasis on the pre and post liver transplant patient.  Dr. Odeh-Ramadan’s expertise includes immunosuppression management, pharmacokinetic monitoring, clinical research development and medication error reduction.  Dr. Odeh-Ramadan has served as PI or Co-I on multiple clinical trials and was responsible for the oversight and management of over 40 industry sponsored, investigator initiated and NIH sponsored trials.
