Members of the Michigan PharmD Class of 2007 pledged $69,400 in gifts during their class P-4 Pledge Drive. Not only did the PharmD Class of 2007 have a stellar 78 percent participation rate, but it set a new record for personal generosity with an average, per person pledge of $1,508. “The leadership of the PharmD Class of 2007 will result in annual scholarship support to as many as 15 Michigan PharmD students,” said Dean Frank J. Ascione at the Pledge Drive Celebration held May 4 at the College. “You are just starting your careers as Michigan Pharmacy alumni, and you have already distinguished yourselves in our tradition of pride and generosity. Go Blue.” To express the College’s appreciation for the leadership shown by the Class of 2007, Ascione gave each member of the Pledge Drive leadership committee a logo-imprinted mortar and pestle.
